As we enter the new year, its that time of the year in which many people start their new year resolution, but why do 9/10 people fail? because they plan for results and not habit change.
Many personal trainers and fitness businesses in the UK will be planning to have more clients in 2018, to start an online training programme, to start that group training they never got round to, to do more social media to publicise themselves better, to achieve their financial goal.
To give yourself a goal is fantastic however create a plan on how to change your habits to achieve that goal, for example if your trying to boost your social media because your want more publicity to gain more clients, start with a social media calendar; plan when your going to post on what day, review what posts are attracting more followers and enquiries, is it videos, picture or blogs, then react to the your analysis and publicise more of what works.
If you work on a gym floor and your looking to gain more clients and earn a certain amount of money. once again plan your habits, how many appointments do you need to gain a client, and how many engagements do you need to do to get one appointments. What types of engagement are you going to do for most productivity at what times in the day, for example 9:30 - 11 fast 20min PT tasters, 5pm - 7pm face to face SMART engagements, 1-3pm gym low users and new members calls. Once again review your week and see how productive you were.
Give these processes a try, you will find that after weeks of planning and reviewing weekly for your productivity to achieve your weekly goal you will develop the habits needed to achieve your 2018 goals.
