The most common thing I here is how people want to make a change in their life. They want to make a change to their financial situation or their lifestyle but want instant results instead of training themselves and conditioning themselves first to achieve their goals. The process of training and conditioning ourselves actually feels incredible when you gain that initial momentum, but most people don't even get that.
If you looking for lasting change to whatever your trying to improve you have to give up the idea of trying something, but instead fully commit yourself to what you want to achieve. There is examples of this all around our industry from people in the gym, who if they don't fully commit to their goal, loose 2lbs during the week then put the same 2lbs back on at the weekend. Same example with personal trainers having no plan each day on how many people they want to engage with, how many appointments they want to deliver that week etc etc their just trying to be a PT not being a fully committed fitness professional using their skills as a business.
To give up the idea of trying something and actually becoming a master at what you do, you need to enrol yourself with a coach or mentor. Surround yourself with a successful people/person as these people will teach you vast amount of things; ideas, finances, investments, business, skills which you can apply to yourself.
The one problem is that people always want to try to do it without a plan, direction and motive and it doesn't work so they try a few more things, then eventually they run to something else. Over my years in the fitness industry i have seen many personal trainers come into the industry with no real plan or direction, fail and go into a variety of other work. If you don't want to follow this pattern or this sounds like you and you you want an extraordinary jump in your quality of life where you are consistently grow and produce the results you want to my advice would to you would be to get a mentor or a coach.
